Good oral health is essential for overall health. Nova Scotia’s dentists think we can collectively be doing more for the oral health of the province’s children, seniors and those with special health needs. The Nova Scotia Dental Association reached out to the province’s political parties and candidates to get their support for fixing the existing provincial dental programs for children and special needs patients, and creating a seniors’ program that targets those who need care the most.
